As the flower of lotus, born in the mud, blossoms in the water, rising up to the sky.
The mud nourishing the roots represents our messy human lives. It is in the midst of our human experiences and our suffering that we seek to break free and bloom.
May we exist in muddy water with purity, like a lotus.
‘Dadirri’ is an extension of our previous collection
Padma whivh is focussed on life-giving aspects of
nature - mud, water and sky.
We have used pure hand-loom cotton and done hand-block bagru/dabu printing using natural colors with our hand-drawn patterns inspired by life giving aspects to Lotus.
To enhance the look of the garment, couching technique have been used.
