Svadhyaya Collection

SVADHYAYA, a compound word comprising of Sva (one’s own) and Adhyaya (a lesson), literally meaning "one's own lesson", is a collection inspired from the times we find ourselves living in. In these imperfect times, in the midst of countless lockdowns, we have had to learn to spend more and more time with ourselves and face certain truths. Finding our own flow and comfort zone, without the prying eyes of society, has led a lot of us to accept our own imperfections and find beauty in those flaws. The nature of this world itself is imperfect and it is the growth through those imperfections that I wish to bring to light through this collection. The disjointed and spasmodic floral patterns represent our own imperfect flourishing in these uncertain times and I find beauty and comfort in that progress.
