Katran Project (Scrap Re-use)

‘Katran (Scrap Re-use) project’ is a concept based collection that is upcycled from leftover fabrics at our studio. 

The project came into existence few months back when we realized that something very unique can be created with all the katrans in various type of fabrics and colors. 

Some fabric wastes that we have are delicate and weightless in nature which we utilized to make ruffles and made some beautiful handcrafted intricate pieces that not only turned out to be multi-functional garments but also piece of art for us. 

We also used color segregated fabric waste which were created into handmade cords/ strands to accentuate the garment and made accessories (like fanny bag). Eco dying technique was also used to upcycle the surplus fabric that we have in bulk at our studio and created easy, breezy yet stylish garments.
